Omit the sugar in your pancakes and prepare a great healthy breakfast. You can make this recipe with regular flour or with whole wheat to make them extra healthy. The best part is that they will take you only 15 minutes from scratch. If you are concerned about their taste, don’t be; you can combine the pancakes with various toppings to make them sweeter but still keep them healthy: fruits slices, dark chocolate chips, nuts, low-fat syrups.
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/4 cup milk
- 3 eggs
Whisk together milk and eggs in a bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk the flour and baking powder. Add the milk and eggs mix into the flour mix. Mix until smooth but slightly lumpy.
Heat a griddle over a medium heat. Grease it lightly and pour ¼ cup of the batter per pancake. Cook until the surface of the pancake bubbles. Flip and cook the opposite side until golden brown.
