I love peaches. These juicy fruits are an inextricable part of my everyday life. I like to eat them as it is, or turn them into juice, and regardless of whether they are in or out of season, I like to use them in my all time favorite food, pancakes! And where do I find all the ideas for pancake recipes?
Easy, the internet is filled with great recipes, and you can always count on finding something there.
Pancakes with Fresh or Frozen Peaches
One fun way to eat peaches even in winter is to get some frozen ones and find a recipe, like Peach German Pancake recipe where you can easily use both fresh and frozen peaches. The lovely smell you’ll get while baking your frozen peaches together with some cinnamon and sugar will make you feel grateful you had to go the trouble of baking them in the first place.
As for all of you in a hurry out there, don’t worry, this recipe will be ready in less than an hour, and as soon as you’ve tasted a warm tasty pancake bite, all time will stop. Seriously, these ingredients go so well together, that there will be a cloud of vanilla-cinnamon smell long after you’ve finished baking this pancake.
Sweet Peach Pancakes
I was thrilled at the prospect of making peach pancake recipes. I went on and bought tons of peaches and was ready to get started. Needles to say I ate half of them, but I had the other half to cook with. The second recipe I chose was the Sweet Peach Pancakes recipe.
These pancakes were super easy to prepare and only took me about 20 minutes to make them. It might take you a while longer if you don’t have the soft-wheat flour and are forced to mix cake-flour and regular all purpose flour, but either way they shouldn’t be difficult to handle.
Another advantage of this recipe is you don’t have to peel the peaches, it’s enough to cut them into thin wedges and you are ready to go. When it comes to the topping, you can serve them with maple syrup, as for me I added some whipped cream… and, of course some more fresh peach slices.
What can I say…The fact that whenever I have the chance I eat the regular pancake with a few peach slices on top, tells you more about my peaches addiction than words ever will!
